01. Foster
We are always needing loving fosters to babysit the dogs for up to six weeks. Most of our dogs are homeless, abandoned, or abused, can you house one for six weeks?
Show Up
02. Be a Volunteer
There are many ways to help Tails from Alabama rescue dogs! Sign up to foster a dog while it awaits it’s forever home in Maine. Sign up to transfer the dogs to vet appointments, or pick up surrenders from the community.
Give Back
03. Make a Donation
Any amount helps us rescue dogs! For example, your donation of… $10 purchases shots for one puppy. Your donation of… $50 covers gas for the dog’s Freedom Ride from the shelter or community.
Your gracious donation of… $100 fully vets one heartworm negative dog or puppy. All donations are tax exempt.

04. Spread the Word
Our mission is to save as many dogs as possible so we need your help to share our message!
Additionally, we seek financial support for a much needed quarantine facility. As new dogs and puppies enter our rescue, they sometimes carry contagious and costly diseases with them that can spread quickly to other dogs. We need a structure to place these new arrivals, to quarantine safely for two weeks before we introduce to the general population. We are hoping to purchase a Cabin Storage Building which has 360 square feet to safely contain the new arrivals. Please share with your fellow animal lovers so we can raise money for this much needed facility.
